The Bayside Lions Club is committed to the youth of the Bayshore community and is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications for college scholarships.

This is a scholarship with awards based on student academic achievement, community involvement and leadership potential with consideration being given to need, as well.

“We are absolutely committed to helping students realize their academic and professional goals,” said Former Club President, Lion Paulette Janak.

Eligibility

• High school seniors in public or private schools
• Home schooled seniors
• Must want to continue their education at a college or career school
• Live in Bacliff, Bayview, Kemah or San Leon (Texas)

Scholarship Amount

• $1,000 scholarship

Scholarship checks will be payable to the recipient’s school in two payments of $500 each at the beginning of the first and second freshman semester.
